Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Transformational Leadership, Competence, and Organizational Commitment on employee performance.

The research was conducted using a quantitative approach while the data used were primary data using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. Respondents of this study were employees at the Secretariat Office of the Regional House of Representatives of the Selayar Islands Regency who were selected as a whole (saturated sample) of 90 people. Data analysis technique using Multiple Linear Regression with hypothesis testing tools through t test in partial testing and f test in hypothesis testing simultaneously. All data analysis was carried out using SPSS Version 25 software.

The results of this study indicate that partially transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on performance, while organizational commitment has a negative and significant effect on performance and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on performance. Simultaneously shows that transformational leadership, competence, and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on performance. Adjusted R.Square obtained is 0.965. This means that 96.5% of Employee Performance at the Secretariat Office of the Regional House of Representatives of the Selayar Islands Regency is influenced by transformational leadership, competence, and organizational commitment while the remaining 3.5% of Employee Performance at the Secretariat of the Selayar Islands Regency Regional House of Representatives is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
