Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of individual characteristics, organizational characteristics, and work ethic partially and simultaneously on employee career development at the Regional Secretariat of Selayar Islands Regency. The research method used is quantitative research with an explanatory model. The data used are primary data resulting from distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) and secondary data from documentation studies. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis of the SPSS version 20 program.  The results show that a partial and simultaneous positive and significant influence between Individual Characteristics, Organizational Characteristics, and Work Ethics on Employee Career Development in the scope of work of the Regional Secretariat of Selayar Islands Regency. This study also shows that there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of Individual Characteristics, Organizational Characteristics, and Work Ethics simultaneously on Employee Career Development in the scope of work of the Regional Secretariat of Selayar Islands Regency.
