Abstract

This research aims to analyze the direct and indirect influence of financial literacy variables, service quality, and level of trust on savings decisions in Sharia Banking in South Sulawesi Province with interest as an intervening variable. This research approach uses a quantitative approach. The population in this research is all Sharia Banking customers in South Sulawesi. The sample used in this research was 190 respondents. The results show that (1) Financial literacy directly has a positive but not significant influence on interest in saving. (2) Service quality has a positive but not significant influence on interest in saving. (3) Service quality has a positive but not significant influence on saving decisions. (4) The level of trust has a positive and significant influence on interest in saving. (5) The level of trust has a positive but not significant influence on saving decisions. (6) Interest in saving has a positive and significant influence on saving decisions. (7) Indirectly, financial literacy has a positive but not significant influence on the decision to save through interest in saving. (8) Service quality has a positive but not significant influence on the decision to save through interest in saving. (9) The level of trust has a positive and significant effect on the decision to save through interest in saving.
