Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Competence, Motivation and Work Discipline on employee performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of West Sulawesi Province. This research approach is a quantitative approach. The study was conducted at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of West Sulawesi Province and carried out from May-June 2022. The research population was all employees in the work area of ​​the Department of Population and Civil Registration of West Sulawesi Province with a population of 57 people with a sample of 57 employees. The analytical technique used is multiple linear analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and partially significant effect between competence and work discipline on employee performance, while motivation had no positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, competence, motivation and work discipline affect employee performance. Based on the results of data analysis, the R-Square value in this study is 0.756.
