PENGARUH IKLIM ORGANISASI ETOS KERJA DAN EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KELAS I MAKASSAR

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Influence of Organizational Climate, Work Ethic, and Employee Engagement on Employee Performance and their combined influence. The research population consists of 143 employees of Class I Correctional Institution in Makassar. The sample selection is done using the Slovin technique, resulting in a sample size of 105 individuals. Data collection is conducted through questionnaires, and data analysis is performed using multiple regression analysis techniques.

The research results indicate that Organizational Climate (X1) has a positive and significant influence on the variable Employee Performance in the Class I Correctional Institution in Makassar, with a probability value of X1 being 0.009. Work Ethic (X2) has a positive and significant influence on the variable Employee Performance in the institution, with a probability value of X2 being 0.000. Employee Engagement (X3) has a positive and significant influence on the variable Employee Performance in the institution, with a probability value of X3 being 0.003. All independent variables, namely Organizational Climate (X1), Work Ethic (X2), and Employee Engagement (X3), together influence Employee Performance (Y) in the Class I Correctional Institution in Makassar. The most dominant variable affecting Employee Performance in the institution is Work Ethic, with a coefficient Beta value of 0.540, the highest among the three X variables.
