Abstract

This research aims to 1) To partially test and analyze the influence of motivation, discipline and HR development on the performance of Makassar Main Harbormaster's Office employees. 2) To test and analyze simultaneously the influence of motivation, discipline and HR development on the performance of Makassar Main Harbormaster's Office employees. 3) To test and analyze the variables that most dominantly influence the performance of Makassar Main Harbormaster's Office employees.

 This research was conducted on Employee Performance at the Makassar Main Harbormaster's Office. The sample in the research was 47 employees. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.

The results of the research concluded that: partially Motivation, Discipline and HR Development have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Makassar Main Harbormaster's Office. This means that Motivation, Discipline and HR Development are able to improve employee performance at the Makassar Main Harbormaster's Office. Simultaneously Motivation, Discipline and HR Development have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Makassar Main Harbormaster's Office. Partially, it shows that the Discipline variable has a dominant influence on employee performance at the Makassar Main Harbormaster's Office. This shows that the better the discipline, the more employee performance at the Makassar Main Harbormaster's Office will improve.
