Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: the effect of work initiatives, mastery of technology and work environment on employee performance at the Majene Regency Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation Office, and the most dominant variables affecting the employee performance at the Majene Regency Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation Office. This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted at the Office of Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation, Majene Regency. The time of the research was carried out in October 2022. The research population was all employees of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation of Majene Regency, totaling 139 people using the slovin formula in drawing research samples totaling 58 respondents. The results showed that: 1) Work initiatives had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation of Majene Regency 2) Mastery of technology had a positive effect on the performance of the employees of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation of Majene Regency 3) The work environment had a positive effect on the performance of the employees of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation of Majene Regency 4) There is a positive and significant effect of work initiative, mastery of technology and the work environment together (simultaneously) on the performance of the employees of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation of Majene Regency 5) Work initiative variable the most dominant influence on the performance of employees of the Office of Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation Majene Regency.
