Abstract

This study aims to: 1) identify and analyze the influence of the work environment on job satisfaction; 2) know and analyze the effect of job placement on job satisfaction; 3) knowing and analyzing the influence of the work environment on personnel performance; 3) knowing and analyzing the effect of work placement on personnel performance; 5) knowing and analyzing the effect of job satisfaction on personnel performance; 6) knowing and analyzing the influence of the work environment on personnel performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable; 7) identify and analyze the effect of job placement on personnel performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted at the Jeneponto Police. The time of the research was carried out from April to May 2023. The research population was all Jeneponto Police personnel, totaling 150 personnel. The sample selection in this study was 45 percent x 150 = 67.5 rounded up to 68 personnel. The results of this study indicate that: 1) there is an influence between the work environment on job satisfaction; 2) there is an effect of job placement on job satisfaction; 3) there is an influence of the work environment on personnel performance; 4) there is an effect of work placement on personnel performance; 5) there is an effect of job satisfaction on personnel performance; 6) there is an effect of the work environment on personnel performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable; 7) there is an effect of work placement on personnel performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable.
