Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze: (1) The partial effect of organizational support and engagement on work motivation at the National Unity and Politics Agency in Tojo Una-Una District. (2) The partial influence of organizational support, engagement, and work motivation on employee performance at the National Unity and Politics Agency in Tojo Una-Una Regency. (3) The effect of organizational support, partial engagement on employee performance mediated by work motivation at the National Unity and Political Agency in Tojo Una-Una Regency.

The research approach used is a quantitative approach. Place of research at the Agency for National Unity and Politics in Tojo Una-Una Regency. The sample size is 62 employees. The sample collection method uses a saturated sample. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Methods of analysis using descriptive statistics, path analysis, T test, F test, Sobel test.

The results of the study prove that: (1) Organizational support has a negative and significant effect on work motivation. (2) Enagagement has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. (3) Organizational support has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance. (4) Engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (5) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (6) Work motivation cannot mediate the effect of organizational support on employee performance. (7) Work motivation can mediate the effect of engagement on employee performance.
