Abstract

The aims of this study were: (1) to partially test and analyze the influence of affiliative leadership and organizational climate on employee performance at the Ulubongka District Office in Tojo Una-Una District. (2) to test and partially analyze the effect of affiliative leadership, organizational climate and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Ulubongka sub-district office in Tojo Una-Una district. (3) to partially test and analyze the influence of affiliative leadership and organizational climate on employee performance by mediating job satisfaction at the Ulubongka sub-district office in Tojo Una-Una district.

The research location is at the Ulubongka District Office in Tojo Una-Una District. The sample size is 39 employees. Sample collection method with a saturated sample. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Methods of analysis using descriptive statistics, path analysis, T test, F test, and Sobel test.

The results of the study prove that: (1) Affiliative leadership has a positive and insignificant effect on job satisfaction at the Ulubongka sub-district office in Tojo Una-Una district. (2) Organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at the Ulubongka District Office in Tojo Una-Una District. (3) Affiliative leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Ulubongka District Office in Tojo Una-Una District. (4) Organizational climate has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance at the Ulubongka District Office in Tojo Una-Una District. (5) (6) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Ulubongka sub-district office in Tojo Una-Una district. (7) Job satisfaction can mediate the effect of affiliative leadership on employee performance at the Ulubongka sub-district office in Tojo Una-Una district. (8) Job satisfaction cannot mediate the effect of organizational climate on employee performance at the Ulubongka sub-district office in Tojo Una-Una district.
