Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) Compensation has a partial effect on employee motivation at the Staffing and Human Resource Development Agency (2) Work environment has a partial effect on employee motivation at the Staffing and Human Resource Development Agency (3) Compensation and the environment work influences simultaneously on the work motivation of employees at the Makassar City Regional Personnel and Human Resource Development Agency. The sample in this study was 71 people who were employees of the Makassar City Regional Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency. This study used multiple linear regression analysis with data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results show that (1) Compensation partially influences the work motivation of employees at the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency. (2) The work environment partially influences the work motivation of employees at the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency. (3) Compensation and work environment simultaneously affect the work motivation of employees at the Makassar City Regional Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency
