Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: The effect of farmer knowledge, farmer skills and farmer behavior on increasing farmer production in Pamboang District, Majene Regency, as well as the most dominant variable influencing farmers' production increase in Pamboang District, Majene Regency. This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted on farmers in Pamboang District, Majene Regency. The time of the research was conducted in October 2022. The research population was all farmers in Pamboang District, Majene Regency, totaling 2,989 people using the slovin formula in collecting a research sample of 100 respondents. The results showed that: 1) Farmer knowledge has a positive effect on increasing farmer production in Pamboang District, Majene Regency 2) Farmer skills have a positive and significant effect on increasing farmer production in Pamboang District, Majene Regency 3) Farmer behavior has a positive effect on increasing farmer production in Pamboang District Majene Regency 4) There is a positive and significant influence of farmer knowledge, farmer skills and farmer behavior jointly (simultaneously) on increasing farmer production in Pamboang District, Majene Regency 5) The most dominant farmer skill variable influences the increase in farmer production in Pamboang District, Majene Regency Majene.
