Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) The influence of competence on employee performance. (2) The influence of compensation on employee performance. (3) The influence of competence on employee motivation. (4) The influence of compensation on employee motivation. (5) The influence of motivation on employee performance. (6) The influence of competence on employee performance. (7) The influence of compensation on employee performance at PT Bank Kb Bukopin (Persero) TBK Makassar Branch through motivation.

The research approach uses quantitative methods with an Output algorithm and Bootstrapping methods. The research was conducted at PT Bank Kb Bukopin (Persero) TBK Makassar Branch with a total sample of 65 people.

The results show that (1) The competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (2) The compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (3) The competence has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. (4) The compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation.

(5) The motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (6) The competence has a positive and significant effect on performance through employee motivation. (7) The compensation has a positive and significant effect on performance through the motivation of employees of PT Bank Kb Bukopin (Persero) Tbk Makassar Branch.
