Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Computer-Assisted Learning (CAL) media on students' learning outcomes in the subject of Digital Simulation at Alu State Vocational High School. This research is a quasi-experimental study in the form of a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population consists of 55 students from class X at Alu State Vocational High School. The sample size for this study is 35 students, taken from 2 classes using the Random Sampling technique with a lottery system. Data collection is done through documentation and tests. Prerequisite tests include tests for normality and homogeneity. The hypothesis is tested using the t-test. The use of computer-assisted learning media shows an effect on students' learning outcomes in the subject of Digital Simulation. This is indicated by the results of the t-test hypothesis.

The results of the study show that (1) there is a difference in students' learning outcomes taught with computer-assisted learning media, as indicated by the resulting significance value of 0.014. This value is smaller than the α level of 5%, in this case, 0.014 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference. (2) there is an influence of students' learning outcomes taught with computer-assisted learning media, as indicated by the resulting significance value of 0.014. This value is smaller than the α level of 5%, in this case, 0.014 < 0.05, indicating a significant influence. This means that there is an effect of Computer-Assisted Learning (CAL) media on students' learning outcomes in the subject of digital simulation at Alu State Vocational High School.
