Abstract

This research was conducted on employees of the Polewali Mandar Regency Agriculture and Food Service. The sample was determined using a saturated technique by taking the entire population, namely 90 employees at the Polewali Mandar Regency Agriculture and Food Service. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and document study. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research concluded that (1) leadership partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Polewali Mandar Regency Agriculture and Food Service. This means that good leadership can improve employee performance at the Polewali Mandar Regency Agriculture and Food Service, while compensation and work environment have no effect on employee performance at the Polewali Mandar Regency Agriculture and Food Service. This means that Compensation and Work Environment need to receive attention so that they can have a significant influence on Employee Performance at the Polewali Mandar Regency Agriculture and Food Service (2) Simultaneously Leadership, Compensation and Work Environment have a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance at the Agriculture and Food Service Polewali Mandar Regency (3) partially shows that the Leadership variable has a dominant influence on the performance of employees at the Polewali Mandar Regency Agriculture and Food Service. This shows that the better the leadership, the more the performance of the Polewali Mandar Regency Agriculture and Food Service Employees will improve.
