Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of competence, training and leadership on the performance of the employees of the Regional Inspectorate of Jeneponto Regency, as well as the most dominant variables affecting the performance of the employees of the Regional Inspectorate of Jeneponto Regency.

This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted at the Regional Inspectorate Office of Jeneponto Regency. The time of the study was carried out from April to May 2021. The research population was the employees of the Regional Inspectorate of Jeneponto Regency, totaling 51 people. The sample selection in this study was carried out using the purposive sampling method, namely the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations. The number of questionnaires that will be distributed to respondents is 51 questionnaires.

The results showed that: 1) There was a positive and significant influence of the competence variable partially on the performance of the Regional Inspectorate of Jeneponto Regency Employees 2) There was a positive and significant influence of the training variable partially on the performance of the Regional Inspectorate of Jeneponto Regency Employees 3) There was a positive and significant influence on the leadership variable partially on the performance of the Jeneponto Regency Regional Inspectorate Employees 4) There is a positive and significant influence of competence, training, and leadership together (simultaneously) on the performance of the Jeneponto Regency Regional Inspectorate employees.
