Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline training on civil servant performance through career development at the Pangkep Regency Agriculture Service whether (1) training affects career development (2) work discipline affects career development (3) training affects performance (4) work discipline effect on performance (5) career development affects performance (6) training affects performance through career development (7) work discipline affects performance through career development.

Data were obtained using a questionnaire related to training, work discipline and career development on performance to 90 respondents at the Pangkep Regency Agriculture Office. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The results showed that (1) training had an effect on career development (2) work discipline had no effect on career development (3) training had an effect on civil servant performance (4) work discipline had no effect on civil servant performance (5) career development had an effect on civil servant performance ( 6) training has an effect on performance through career development skills (7) work discipline has no effect on performance through career development at the Pangkep Regency Agriculture Office.
