Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of human resource development, work discipline and work environment on employee performance in Benteng sub-district, Selayar islands district. This research approach uses survey research. The research was conducted at the Benteng District Office, Selayar Islands Regency. The population of the study was 38 employees at the Benteng District Office, Selayar Islands Regency. The sample selection in this study was carried out using the saturated sampling method, namely the entire population was also a sample, so that a sample of 38 employees was obtained. The results of the study indicate that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence on the development of human resources individually (partial) on the performance of employees of the Benteng Subdistrict, Selayar Regency. 2) There is a positive and significant influence of work discipline individually (partial) on the performance of employees of Benteng Subdistrict, Selayar Islands Regency. 3) There is a positive and significant effect of the work environment individually (partial) on the performance of employees of the Benteng Subdistrict, Selayar Islands Regency. 4) There is a simultaneous (simultaneous) influence on the development of human resources, work discipline and work environment on the performance of employees of Benteng Subdistrict, Selayar Islands Regency. The most dominant variable affecting the performance of the employees of Benteng Subdistrict, Selayar Islands Regency is the work environment variable. Based on the results of the study, the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.768 or (76.8%). This shows that 76.8% of employee performance is influenced by human resource development, work discipline and work environment. While 23.2% is influenced by other variables that are not included in this research model.
