This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of individual characteristics and organizational environment on turnover intention through burnout syndrome as an intervening variable for employees of the Regional Secretariat of Enrekang Regency. This research approach used survey research conducted at the Regional Secretariat of the Enrekang Regency in October 2022. The data used in the study were primary data collected through direct questionnaire surveys and used a sample of 75 employees working at the Regional Secretariat of Enrekang Regency. Data analysis used Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis to test hypotheses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. The results showed that (1) Individual Characteristics have an effect on Burnout Syndrome (2) Organizational Environment has an effect on Burnout Syndrome ( 3) Individual Characteristics affect Turnover Intention (4) Burnout Syndrome affects Turnover Intention (5) Individual Characteristics affect Turnover Intention through Burnout Syndrome (6) Organizational Environment influences Turnover Intention through Burnout Syndrome at the Regional Secretariat of Enrekang Regency. While the Organizational Environment variable has a positive but not significant effect on Turnover Intention.
