Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of (1) Training on Employee performance (2) Competence on Employee performance (3) Leadership on Employee performance (4) Training on Leadership (5) Competence on leadership (6) Training on employee performance at the Provincial Civil Service Agency South Sulawesi through Leadership as an intervening variable (7) Competence on the performance of the Regional Personnel Agency of South Sulawesi Province through Leadership as an intervening variable.

The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires related to servant leadership, training, competency and employee performance to 125 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study is Partial Least Square using the Smart PLS application.

The results of the study show that (1) training has no effect on employee performance (2) competence has an effect on employee performance (3) leadership has an effect on employee performance (4) training has had an effect on leadership (5) competence has had an effect on leadership (6) training through leadership as intervening variables do not significantly influence employee performance (7) Competence through leadership as an intervening variable does not significantly affect employee performance at the Regional Personnel Board of South Sulawesi Province.
