Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of competence and organizational culture on employee performance (2) the effect of competence, organizational culture on employee motivation (3) the effect of motivation on employee performance (4) the effect of competence and organizational culture on performance through employee motivation.

The sample selection in this study was carried out using the saturated sampling method (census), where all the population was sampled as many as 53 employees. Data analysis using path analysis (Path Analysis).

The results show that (1) competence has a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.001 less than 0.05, organizational culture had a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.004 less than 0.05 (2) competence and organizational culture have an positive effect and significant on employee motivation with a significance value of 0.001 and 0.003, less than 0.05 (3) employee motivation has a significant effect on performance with a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05 (4) competence and organizational culture indirectly affect performance performance through employee motivation.
