Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of competence and infrastructure facilities on service performance through the work environment at Lapas Perempuan Kelas IIA Sungguminasa. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire, and data analysis was performed using multiple regression analysis techniques. This research employed a quantitative survey approach, and the sample selection was done using a saturation sampling technique, resulting in a sample size of 86 employees. The data collection method employed in this study was the distribution of questionnaires.

The data analysis method used in this research was Path Analysis. The results of the study found that competence has a positive and significant influence on service performance, infrastructure facilities have a positive and significant influence on service performance, and the work environment has a positive and significant influence on service performance. Additionally, competence has a positive and significant influence on the work environment, and infrastructure facilities have a positive and significant influence on the work environment. The work environment is able to mediate the relations between the influence of competence on service performance, and the work environment can also mediate the relations between the influence of infrastructure facilities on service performance at Sungguminasa Class IIA Women Prison.
