Analisis Ketergantungan Penggunaan Chat GPT di Kalangan Mahasiswa Menyebabkan Penurunan Kualitas Belajar

The aim of this research is to see the influence is to see the influence of AI technology, one of which is Chat GPT. Nowadays, AI technology is developing very rapidly, especially among student’s, the existence of Chat GPT Makes many students depend on it to find information and help with acadeic assigments. As for the positive and negative impact of Chat GPT, the positive impact is increasing student’s, critical thinking and the ease of finding information, the negative impact is decreasing the quality of student’s thinking, they are too lazy to look for information from journals or books. Using a quantitative method, a survey was conducted to collect data regarding the frequency of use, goals and student preceptions of the impact of Chat GPT. The result of this research show that although Chat GPT makes it easier to access information and increase tie efficiency, high dependency can reduce the quality of learning. The research conslusions highlight the importance of using Chat GPT wisely and in a balanced manner, as well as the need to develop independent learning abilities. Recommendations are provided to increase awareness of the negative impacts of using Chat GPT and encourage more active and in-depth learning starategies.
