Abstract

Accurate and precise recording of financial transactions according to their use will produce good and accurate financial-related information for users. The BUMdes managers are no exception, which also requires the bookkeeping of their financial transactions. To answer the problems of BUMdes management related to making financial reports and making decisions on their financial operations, it is necessary to design a financial information system so that programmers are able to create programs that suit the needs of BUMdes managers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the prevailing financial system and design a system that is suitable for the needs and is useful for BUMdes managers in building a financial information system for BUMdes managers.

The system designed is intended for the Delphi program and uses an accounting flow that starts from recording journals to producing financial reports in the form of balance sheets, income statements, reports of changes in capital, and cash flow reports. The designed system can also produce subsidiary books such as accounts receivable, and inventory records.
