ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN STRATEGI USAHA HASIL TANGKAPAN PURSE SEINE

The purpose of this study is to analyze the business strategy of purse seine catches in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. The research method uses the Random Sampling method where the respondents or samples to be selected during the interview are fishermen whose entire working time uses purse seine fishing gear. The sampling method used in this study is the Random Sampling method where the respondents or samples to be selected during the interview are fishermen whose entire working time is used to carry out small pelagic fishing operations using purse seine fishing gear. The results showed that alternative purse seine catch business strategy policies by taking into account the results of the analysis using SWOT Analysis at TPI Lonrae sorted by priority are improving the facilities and infrastructure of fish landing sites, sorting based on the type and size of fish, and anticipating increases in operational costs
